Infamous – Huntington Beach, CA
2012 UPDATE
Professional paintball team, Infamous has made some strategic moves in the offseason to enhance their already strong lineup prior to the start of the 2012 season. Former members from Aftershock and Legend: Damian Ryan, Brad McCurley, Chris Sosine, Zack Patient, and Drew Templeton have officially signed on to compete with Infamous for all 2012 PSP events.
Travis Lemanski, Captain of Infamous stated, “that adding new blood to the team will help invigorate our power lineup consisting of Greg Siewers, Nicky Cuba, Rusty Glaze, Kali Kevin Rudulph, and Bobby Aviles with Todd Martinez helping to organize the chaos in the pit.”
The Evolution of Infamous
Team Infamous was formed long before a single stencil got spray painted. The team was built out of the core of the original Avalanche team. The players quit and joined the National Xball League. In the NXL the team played as Miami Effect.
Team Infamous was formed when the actual players of Miami Effect defected on the NXL to play in the National Paintball Players League in 2004. It was forbidden and all the players received a one year ban.
Infamous came out and won the very first NPPL event beating Dynasty for the first time ever in 7 man finals. It was a major upset that changed paintball forever by reuniting all the competition.
Leaving the NXL and beating world champions Dynasty gave meaning to the name Infamous forever.
